Since his admission to the New Jersey Bar in 1994, Mr. Goldsmith has focused on insurance coverage disputes, both litigated and in various forms of ADR. He has handled multi-party complex insurance matters arising from asbestos, hazardous waste and construction claims. He is also experienced in the defense of general liability bodily injury and property damage suits.
Mr. Goldsmith graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University in 1991 with a B.A. in Political Science and Minors in Business Administration and History. In 1994, he graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor for the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and a member of the Inmate Advocacy Law Clinic. A former judicial clerk to the Hon. Martin L. Greenberg, Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Mr. Goldsmith was admitted to the Bars of the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, in 1994. He was admitted to the Bars of the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1997, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2002, the Bar of the State of New York in 2001, and the Bars of United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits in 2000 and 2001.
