Ms. Gallagher graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Fordham University in 1998, earning a double B.A. in English as well as Spanish Studies. She was the recipient of a United States Presidential Fellowship from the National Security Education Program to study abroad at the Catholic University of Valparaiso in Valparaiso, Chile. Ms. Gallagher was the President of Alpha Mu Gamma, the National Collegiate Modern Language Honor Society, from 1995 through 1997 and was also a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society. In June of 2001, she was awarded a J.D. from New York Law School. During all three years of law school, she served as a law intern to a civil litigation firm specializing in legal malpractice, administrative law, and insurance coverage disputes.
Ms. Gallagher has been admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, since 2001. From 2001-2002, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mahlon L. Fast, J.S.C., Civil Division, in Essex County.
Ms. Gallagher specializes in various areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis on medical and hospital negligence, appellate practice, employment law, Title 59 actions, complex premises and products liability, and personal injury law.
