Attorneys

Ms. Marques graduated with Highest Honors and College Honors from Rutgers University-Newark in 1992 with a B.A. in English. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the recipient of the Madison C. Bates Award, David Robert Friedlander Award, and Paul Mahlon Hamlin Award.

In 1995, Ms. Marques received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark. While in law school, she was an Articles Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. In addition, she served on the Moot Court Board. Ms. Marques finished in 1st place in the Nathan Baker Mock Trial Competition and was the recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award.

Ms. Marques has been admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, since 1995. During the Spring Semester of 1994, while still in law school, she served as a law intern to the Honorable Dickinson R. Debevoise, United States District Court, District of New Jersey. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Theodore A. Winard, Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal and Civil Divisions, Essex County.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Marques was associated with a firm specializing in medical malpractice defense.
