Mr. Husik graduated from Hampshire College in December 2000, earning a B.A. with an interdisciplinary degree encompassing course work in psychology, language, and cultural studies. In May, 2004, Mr. Husik received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law - Newark. While at Rutgers, he served as a supervising student attorney in the Community Law Clinic, where he trained students in transactional matters and performed corporate counsel functions for several nonprofit and corporate entities. In addition, Mr. Husik served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Mahlon L. Fast, J.S.C., Civil Division. Mr. Husik was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Husik served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ramona A. Santiago, J.S.C., Civil Division. Mr. Husik's practice has been focused on complex litigation in both the insurance coverage and biomedical technology areas. Since joining the firm he has gained significant state and federal court experience, including involvement with matters litigated through the Federal Multi-District Litigation program. With a strong IT background Mr. Husik brings knowledge to the legal practice that translates to effective legal strategies and bottom-line efficiencies critical to the rapidly evolving modern e-discovery tules and obligations. Mr. Husik is called upon to shepard challenging electronic discovery projects, including the strategic and efficient analysis of vast data repositories, the interpretation of complex corporate network and communication systems, litigation hold and preservation considerations, as well as the formulation of effective discovery demands specifically tailored to the unique circumstances and legal issues presenting in a particular action.
