Mr. Grillos received his J.D .cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1973 and earned a B.A. in history from Seton Hall University in 1969.  He served as Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey from 1973 through 1976.  He is admitted to practice in the States of New Jersey and New York.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Grillos served as General Counsel and Vice President to the A.M. Best Company from 1985 to 1997.  He also was engaged as Corporate counsel and Senior Vice President at Oxford University Press through 2006, where he managed Human Resources and focused on employment law, copyright and publishing law issues.  Mr. Grillos is designated as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM.)  He currently practices in various areas of civil litigation for the firm.
