Mr. Clare is a 1982 cum laude graduate of Fordham University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. Mr. Clare went on to earn his J.D. degree from St. Louis University in 1986. Thereafter, he served as law secretary to the Honorable Edward F. Neagle, judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County.

Prior to becoming partner at the firm, Mr. Clare served three years as an assistant prosecutor in Morris County, New Jersey, where he served as the Morris County juvenile prosecutor and as a member of the Adult Trial Unit. He gained extensive trial experience from his responsibilities and developed a specialized ability in prosecuting cases of vehicular homicide.

Since becoming partner at the firm, Mr. Clare has handled all types of general liability cases, from discovery through and including trial. Special emphasis has been placed in the field of medical malpractice and hospital liability claims. He also has been selected to serve as an arbitrator in uninsured and underinsured arbitrations. A portion of Mr. Clare's practice involves criminal defense in both Municipal and Superior Court matters and the defense of health care practitioners in state administrative proceedings. He has also lectured extensively on the topic of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).

Mr. Clare was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1986. He was admitted to the Bar of the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, in 1988.
